Starting off this episode with the Market Snapshot we hear how we are doing compared to last month and last year this time.

For our Special Guest this week Tony Joe visits us from Victoria BC from PRIME Real Estate Team, a hard-working, top 100 Western Canadian RE/MAX Team. While the Fraser Valley has many foreign buyers, the majority of 'foreign buyers' coming to Victoria and the Island are from the Lower Mainland! Tony shares many great reasons why people are choosing to make the move such as having a shorter commute time and getting value for your money. While the benchmark house price is similar to Abbotsford, the Vancouver and close surrounding areas can take advantage of both the short commute and the lower housing prices. Victoria has many people who chose to bike to work and you'll even find some residents kayaking to work!

Victoria is not only a Government town, but a Military, Tourist and Tech town that in some ways is more British than England! Victoria is still a great place to retire, but there are many younger families that are finding their way to the area as well.
