Michele and Curtis have special guest Nino Giangrande of Grande Pacific Homes on the show to discuss Passive Homes. Not only do they go over the basic question of 'what is a passive home', they also go over the cost difference in building a Passive home in contrast to a home built to BC's current building code. The benefits to the Environment are obvious, but you'll also hear about the home owners long-term cost benefits as well as the 'Quality of Living' concept and the comfort level achieved with such an innovative home. By choosing to build a Passive home now, you'll be ahead of the curve for BC's goal of being Net Zero by 2032, plus you can take advantage of all the benefits of a Passive Home.

If you'd like to take a look at some options, Michele has 5 lot's available for sale in the beautiful Harrison Mills area of Agassiz. A custom Passive House plan has been designed for each of these lots while also taking advantage of the amazing view that the area offers. While you don't have to build a Passive Home on these lots, after listening to this interview, I expect you'll want to!

Also during this episode Michele goes over the most current statistics for Real Estate in the Fraser Valley!
