    Preparing for the near future

So you start thinking to yourself 'maybe in a few years I'd like to live...' And thinking like that turns into taking notes of some of the 'must haves' in your ideal living situation. After that you start driving around looking at what kind of options you might have. Depending on where you ended up on those drives, you might be ready to crunch up that paper of 'must have's' and start again, or you might think 'well, I'm going to have to work a few years longer in order to afford that'.

So on this 'must have' list you're writing things about the area like; space, fresh air, view, golfing, walking trails, fishing, view, mountains, nature, bird watching, biking, recreation, view, and one more time just to be sure, view. Beside your 'area' list you have a 'home' list and it reads something like this; vaulted ceilings, master on main, walk-in closet, gourmet kitchen, walk-in pantry, spa-inspired ensuite, patio, large windows, natural light, air conditioning, quality construction, attention to detail, craftsman architecture, rich finishes.

After contimplating these lists you think that it would also be nice to have a hand in picking some of the finishings, flooring, colours and counters so that you're not just buying another house project, but a ready to live in home.

If on one of your drives you made it up to the Harrison Mills area in Agassiz you would have found Harrison Highlands, the largest master planned river view community in the Fraser Valley. This new development by Odessa Group, one of BC's most respected real estate developers, would let you check off all of the must haves on your list. But what about the part of needing to work a few extra years to pay for all of this? With pricing starting at $399,900 + GST its looks like all the pieces are falling into place. Actually, it's looking like instead of working a few extra years, you might be able to retire early!

Since homes are selling fast and you'd like to choose your finishing and some other aspects of your home, lets look ahead. There are plenty of options here, anywhere from a 1 bedroom 1450 square foot rancher, to an almost 4000 square foot 2 level home on a fully finished basement. But lets look at one example, the 1.5 storey Salsbury on 1867 Falcon Place priced at $466,650 + GST. This home is slated to be finished at the begining of 2016 which will give you some time to look through our interior packages and choose what is right for you. You can also choose to finish the basement or leave it unfinished, or add a bonus room with deck above the garage. Once the planning is done you're ready to sit back and prepare to enjoy the view!
